Directions: From Jalan Kuching northbound, keep left when you approach the the Segambut Interchange. Turn left (9 o'clock on the roundabout) into Jalan Duta. Go pass the Tennis Stadium on your left and turn right at the first traffic light. Take a right turn at the next set of lights. The Wilayah Mosque will be on your left and the government office complex (Kompleks Kerajaan Jalan Duta) is on your right.

Info / Insights: You know you are there when you see a mess of cars haphazardly parked outside during the end of every month, especially during April and June. The income tax payment counters are situated at the corner of Block 8A marked as Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia - LHDNM.

There are twenty counters and things get moving pretty quickly even when it gets swarmed by the legendary last-minute Malaysian crowd. While one can save the trouble by paying via banks or online, many somehow prefer to hold a shiny hologram-embedded receipt (no longer embedded since January 2010) for their cukai pendapatan payment.

And quit complaining about the parking. Customers are not allowed to park inside. Just be grateful they didn't move these few remaining government entities in KL to faraway Putrajaya.

                               Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
