Directions: From Kuala Lumpur via the North South Expressway, exit at Kajang and head towards Putrajaya via the tail end of the SILK Highway. Enter the slip road that runs parallel to the highway with the Petronas station on your left. Look out for the building with the sign that says "TNB Integrated Learning Solution - ILSAS"
Info / Insights: The hotel is situated on the vast campus grounds of Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). Geographically, the area is part Bangi and part Kajang but falls under the Sepang Municipality. To add to the confusion, many building owners in the area have tagged on the glamourous 'Putrajaya' moniker to their addresses.
The 162-room hotel sits by an artificial lake and has a nice view of the lakeside mosque in the evenings. Next to it is the D’ Tasik Seafood Restaurant and a Medan Selera (food court), if you prefer budget food.
If you should ever get bored looking at engineering students, check out the nearby featured places of Nasi Beriani Gam Johor Puterajaya, MAEPS or Medan Satay Kajang :)
The surrounding area (Kawasan Institusi Bangi) is home to several giant training facilities and sports complexes; many complete with its own stadiums.
Via the SILK Highway and the new SKVE Expressway, one can get to KLIA, Puchong and the West Port speedily (once the link is fully built). The centralised location means one also get on the North-South Expressway easily or travel by the Sungai Besi Expressway to KL, MRR2 and The Mines area.
