Directions: From The Curve, Mutiara Damansara take Persiaran Surian to Kota Damansara. After the Palm Springs shops, turn right at the next major junction. TuneHotels.com Kota Damansara is on the left, facing The Strand. Although you can see the hotel from near the toll plaza after exiting from the NKVE, you need to loop around Jalan Camar. Follow the Giant or Carrefour signs.

Info / Insights: This is the first Tune Hotel that is located in the suburbs. But Kota Damansara is no ordinary suburb as the area in the hotel's vicinity has blossomed into a self-contained, self-sufficient township.

Opposite Tune Hotels.com Kota Damansara is The Strand, Dataran Sunway and the newly opened Giza Shopping Mall. Slightly further, are the Giant and Carrefour hypermarkets. There are more bank branches in this little square than in many much bigger towns in Malaysia.

Also, you will find an incredible range of food outlets; ranging from Roti Ayam Yau Kee Kampar to Sentul Ah Yap Hokkien Mee to the original Pulau Ketam Steamboat, for example. Many of these restaurants are genuine offshoots of eateries that are famous for their signature food. Even Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa and Vicchuda Tom Yam have branches here. Competition is stiff since there are enough restaurants here to feed the entire Klang Valley. Some of the newer ones seem to disappear as fast as they were set up.

The 121-room budget Tune hotel occupies two levels of the main tower in the new Sunsuria Avenue commercial complex. Behind the building is the new and colourful Sports Planet indoor sports complex with futsal and badminton courts. Eventually, when the retail space at Sunsuria Avenue is fully occupied, hotel guests may not even need to cross the street to shop or dine.
