Kuala Lumpur, 10th August 2007: It looks as though my friend Doreen is staring into the camera. No. She wasn't even aware I was there in the audience. The relatively low-level lighting made handheld photography quite challenging. The built-in image stabilization of the E-510 helped greatly, though. Production designer Paul Loosley put three large screens to good use. Archival footage functioned as a changing backdrop, heightening the emotional experience. The happy, dancing Tunku and burning shoplots images were particularly effective.
