Not Every Road Resurfacing Leads To An Election |
Sepang, 13th September 2007: Most Malaysians tend to think of elections when they see newly resurfaced roads resurfaced again. Not in this case. The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM), after inspecting the Sepang International Circuit for the upcoming Polini Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2007, had instructed SIC to conduct repair works. Remedial measures are needed for the October event, especially on the bumpy turns and braking zones. FIM Safety Officer and official track inspector Claude Danis however, was not surprised with the bumpy conditions of the circuit; saying that the problems of bumps and unleveled track were normal after the initial resurfacing.
