Manjung, 21st July 2008:
All Eyes On The Chimney. On the extreme left of the picture, you see copious but harmless
white steam from the boilers. In the center, the chimney stack releases almost invisible emissions that are monitored
and (reportedly) kept well within internationally recognised standards. Regular air, ground and water sampling are also done
in the vicinity and neighbouring areas, according to a briefing given by the General Manager of the power station.
