Bukit Melawati, 22nd August 2007: Fellow bloggers and shutterbugs, join me in documenting these magnificent, displaced animals at various places. Shoot them with your cameras before they are shot or captured through legalised hunting and poaching. Little time is left.
The species I photographed today is the Silvered Leaf Monkey, while those targeted for export are the Long-tailed Macaque. It is hard to imagine that there are going to be cautious mercenaries when the already loophole-filled Wildlife Protection Act is further weakened.
