Manila, 31st October 2008: Red Alert. At every hotel or shopping mall entrance, there are metal detectors and bomb sniffing dogs.
This sign explains why. The fortuitously-named 168 Shopping Mall is, as you would have guessed, a Chinese-owned mall in Chinatown.
