Sg Lembing - The Town That Stopped Ticking |
Sg Lembing, 7th October 2007: Nostalgic. According to this gentleman, the town's population dwindled to around 2000 from about 30,000 during its prime. He has resigned to the fact that younger folks are forced to leave for greener pastures and the town is in a irreversible decline. Proud that he and three generations of his family toiled in the mines, he harbours fond memories of the company.
