Sg Lembing - The Town That Stopped Ticking |
Sg Lembing, 7th October 2007: History Lessons. Unlike other schools, there is no school motto or Rukun Negara painted on the wall.
At this local Chinese school, there is a mural of the complex underground mine of which many of the students' forefathers have worked in. The abandoned mines are now inaccessible due to subterranean flooding and decaying supporting beams that may have already collapsed.
